This is something that folks who don't understand Rummy don't understand. Rumsfeld does not want catspaws, suckups and toadies. He wants folks who will stand up to him, tell him when and where he is wrong, when he is wrong, answer hard questions, know what they are doing and take charge. There is plenty of work to go around for the competent few.
