The Palestinians will not admit to the Temple Mount being the site of the 1st and 2nd Temples. They have even secretly excavated under the Al Aqsa Mosque trying to remove artifacts that might prove otherwise. Apparently archeologists followed trucks filled with debris to dumping areas where they began to reconstruct artifacts that had been disposed of by the Palestinians, those good and honorable people.
