Am more than a bit suspicious here. . .if this was accidental; I would think the Mother would have been desconsolate. . .perhaps on sedation pills - if not hospitalized. Shock can 'move' people, of course; but dabbing at eyes, albeit, 'swollen' with tears. . .not having made a statement. . .presence of mind to be there
with lawyer. .and Mother still upright and walking. . .
I don't know. . .does not 'feel' right. . .
Easier to forget a child in the car it would seem. ..than forgetting the 'whole nine yards' of delivering him to his day care. . .'

Any detective or police officer will tell you that there is no "normal" way for parents to react to the death of their child. Some wail hysterically, some become catatonic, others carry on in complete denial. Suspicion can rarely be established by guaging a parent's reaction to such a horrible event.
