Sad, and very true. Very well put. I am so happy that my wife and I have sacrificed so much so she could stay at home till all our children are in school. (2 out of 3 so far, the youngest is 4 and will be in Kindergarten next year.) Our sacrifices have made me work harder and advance quickly, by simple necessity, that she wouldn't have to go to work now because we live the American Dream. Nothing like a one-income family to motivate a man.

Good for you for making it so that your wife can stay home with the kids. It is such a great investment, and the dividends are tremendous. And you reap them in the teen years, I believe. Way to go.
