Yes, and furthermore whoever had 14 troops in one vehicle-giving Haji the best target of opprotunity he is going to see for a while-ought to be relieved. Let this jerk blow smoke, the 101st will be back for its sendond one year tour in a four year period. But you can't tell the oohrahs the facts, it only confuses them.

Being a former active duty Marine, I have nothing but respect for the Airborne and Rangers and SF of the Army, it is the REGULAR Army I have a problem with. In Somalia I had 2 Army dogs in one week come by our tent looking for their weapons, they had forgotten and left them hanging in the shitter. CLASSIC

And why aren't they patrolling and watching for IED's at night? That's when their usually planted. My daughter's battalion is on their second tour since march 2003. God Bless them and the marines who've given their lives for us.

How many troops go in an AAV? Do you know. How many go in a Chinook, like the one that got hit in Afghanistan with eight Navy SEALs and an eight-member crew in a special forces MH-47 Chinook helicopter , do you know? You can't put two troops per Chinook and send in 4 Chinooks, or AAV or APC because your afraid they are going to get hit, or you'd never get your troops anywhere. You have to arrive in force not piece meal. Comprende?
All our troops are fighting fantastically, that includes the Army Navy and Air Force. Especially with the restraints our leaders are placing on them.
