Why ..?? The zoe life of GOD does not reside there anymore.
When Jesus was crucified, Matt 27:51 - And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
The veil was only there to protect people from the power of GOD resident inside the Ark - because the power went into Jesus when He died upon the cross and there was no longer a reason to have the Ark - and no need for a curtain to protect the people. It was a new Covenant based on better promises.
