Dogs like children are only as good as their owner.
Show me a bad dog and I'll show you an abused dog and a bad owner.

And all you "exterminate all the Rotties & Pit Bulls" crowd, if there were no Rotties or Pit Bulls the gang-bangers, drug pushers and other sordid lowlifes would just find another breed to make vicious!

I have had all breeds from Cocker Spaniels to Malamute to Rottweiler and the training made them all as nice a dog as you would ever want to meet.

Right, but 10 to 50 pound dogs which for whatever reason decide to go nuts on a child can't do the damage of a 150 pound rottie, and they can be pulled off by an adult witness.

That is a BIG reason not to own a 150 pound rottie: you may go to jail if your "big loveable galoot" one fine day attacks a neighbor's child, and mauls it to death.

You will be standing in front of a judge and jury whe will not be impressed with your "big loveable galoot" stories.

A 25 pound beagle, or 10 pound Dachsundt (sp?) is NOT going to do the kind of major damage a 75-150 pound pit bull, shepard, rottie, mastiff, etc will do. End of story.
