This is true. I have had a rottweiler for 11 years now and (even though she is an almost perfect dog) would have to think twice before getting another one. Too many idiot owners means a lot of idiot breeders as well.

I have seen cognitively-challenged owners laugh when their dog starts harassing someone. There is a sadistic impulse in at least SOME of the owners who select breeds known for viciousness and aggression. It's not like people can claim they have NEVER heard of this happening.
