Chill you old fart!
My biases come AFTER working with both organizations. Read my profile and you'll see that my work there was as a civilian.
Of course, the Army didn't treat the US civilians like prisoners and enemy forces. There was a USMC 0-5 that learned a very expensive lesson from his "F'ing" with US civilians over there. And I was there when it happened.
The Army, Navy, USAF didn't frisk US civilians at the DFAC or make them remove any clothing....the USMC did and did it with fingers on triggers.
If you think that the enemy was ever intimidated by the USMC, you are sadly mistaken. And if you think that they are taking my year old observations and devising battle strategy from my FR postings, you are dumber than you sound.
If I had detailed with the Evil Squads do, that might be different. But I didn't.
But take my word for it, the Bad Guys know the differnce between the Army and the USMC way of doing things. That's why the Army was able to run convoys during the day and the USMC couldn't.
Me? I've convoyed through Fallujah at night with the USMC escorts and in the daytime with Army escorts.
So you can stuff you bad ass attitude and give it to someone that might give a dam aout what you think.
Go tell someone else your contractor war stories. Stop f'ing bragging, you sound like a Zapata a'hole.
