Dead babies find shocks Germany

German police are holding a woman suspected of manslaughter after the bodies of nine new-born babies were found buried in a garden.

The 39-year-old woman is believed to be the mother of the children found in Brieskow-Finkenheerd, in Brandenburg state, near the border with Poland.

Police officers with sniffer dogs were searching the site for further remains.

The grim discovery of little bodies found buried in flower pots and buckets has shocked Germany.

It is thought that the babies were born, and died, between 1988 and 2004.

"We are looking at a crime on a scale that, as far as I can remember, has never been seen in the history of the Federal Republic," Brandenburg Interior Minister Joerg Schoenbohm said in a statement.

"We have to ask ourselves how this incredible crime remained hidden over all these years. It's a question directed at relatives, neighbours, doctors and the authorities."

The bodies were discovered after someone clearing a garage at the site found human bones stored in a fish tank, police said.

According to Reuters, the woman has said she was the mother of the babies but has not admitted killing them. A court spokesman said her statement was confused.

Other discoveries

The woman has been identified in the German press only as Sabine H. She is reported to be a jobless dental assistant who moved from the house, where her mother and eldest sister live, to nearby Frankfurt an der Oder.

Bild newspaper said she met her first boyfriend, a former East German army officer and Stasi employee, when she was 17 and they had a daughter in 1984. She had two more children in the following two years.

Berliner Zeitung says she has lived for several years in Frankfurt an der Oder with a man who is the father of her youngest child, 18-month-old Elisabeth. Three other children - aged 18, 19 and 20 - live with her first husband.

Neighbour Ulrich Heitmann, 69, told the newspaper: "Sabine was quite a normal girl, not stupid at all".

The finds come after other recent grim discoveries in Germany, says the Associated Press.

Last week, a dead baby girl was found in a public toilet in Magdeburg and a young boy was discovered on a recycling company's conveyer belt in Guetersloh.

A walker in Lower Saxony found a dead baby in a plastic bag in June.

The authorities in Austria are holding the parents of at least three of four children whose bodies were found in a freezer and concrete-filled buckets at their home.

We are seeing what these generations are doing to the world. Where are the wonderful advancements of mankind?

No, instead our generations promote death for convenience. And the convenience level is different in different people. It will not stop here.

Also, I feel these events are the end result of a drug addicted society. Who has ever investigated the brain damage done by drugs - for the individual or the gene pool?

All for the joy of a drug-induced state of euphoria, all of this for the convenience of silly, selfish people with no regard for God's wishes.

May God bless those people left that honor His wishes in living their lives. They will be the only worthwhile humans who have a moral core in the future. The rest will be the sons of Satan living out his wishes.

"Abortion devalues life ... if it's okay to kill them in the womb, well ...."

The evil we justify returns to us in a package that's not so easy to look at.

She just wanted to save money on killing her kids.

What is interesting is that people are "horrified" but that this would have never hit the news if she had gone to the local temple of Moloch (abortion clinic).

Evil is contagious. People have been desensitized. And almost demonically hypnotized into thinking of infants, children, and preborns as something which can be thrown away.

Dark times.

Moral Absolutes Ping.

I really, really don't want to ping this out. But the truth is that abortion devalues human life (as already mentioned up the thread). How can some human lives be worthy enough to be allowed to live and some not? If some are not worthy, who decides?

If a mother to be can slaughter her unborn babies, is there any moral difference if she decides to slaughter them after birth?

No, there is no difference.

Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind.

Freepmail me if you want on/off this pinglist.

An additional related point is that when promiscuity and unmarried sex is perfectly socially acceptable, millions of women get pregnant and there is no husband/father to take care of the family. Abortion favors rampant illicit sex, and that is one reason why liberals/leftists love it so much.

just out of curiousity, what was cause of death? i didn't see that in the article. is it possible that they were cases of SIDS, or other natural causes, and the woman disposed of them in this way?

...nine children in a 63-month period?

It wouldn't have had to be nine pregnancies. I wonder whether some of them could have been twins. And some of them might have been late-pregnancy abortions.

Still, even hypothesizing the above, it's --- Lord have mercy, words fail me --- phenomenal and awful.

Oops, you're right --- it's 162 months.

Really, a detail that makes no difference. Can we agree that deliberately killing an innocent person is murder? See what God says about shedding innocent blood. Abortion, infanticide, Auschwitz, Hiroshima. Murder most foul.

Evil is contagious. People have been desensitized.

No kidding. On this so-called "conservative" forum, a majority of poll respondents find abortion acceptable at least some of the time.

The truly monstrous Frankenstein aspect of all of this is that with the new stem cell/cloning technology in the works, potentially, EVERYONE gets dragged into being involved as the medical industry pushes for harvesting embryonic stem cells. In the hospital of the future it looks like Catholics and pro-life people in general will be stigmatized by having to ask, "By the way, are any of these treatments or medicines derived from abortions or destroyed embryos?"

Imagine going into a pharmacy convenience store where on the shelves are bottles of HGH formulas and other protein enhancement products derived from destroyed human embryos. What a NIGHTMARE!!!!!!! Who in their right mind would want to shop in such a warehouse of genocide???
