Injured Walter Reed patients, including amputees, have repeatedly told us how important it is for us to be there to counter Code Pink.
Please read the quotes from the double amputee Walter Reed patient in red in the report above and decide if you want to help counter the Pinkos.
If we can sufficiently outnumber the leftists often enough, embarrassment may cause the leftists to stop these outrageous morale-damaging ("Maimed for a lie" is one of their signs) demonstrations at the hospital.
The same FReepers are doing almost all of the these FReeps. We do so gladly as a labor of love for our brave troops fighting terrorists over there, instead of waiting for the terrorists to come here. We FReep especially for those wounded in combat. However, some FReepers' family vacations or other obligations may prevent some of them from coming this next Friday.
Our troops are bold enough to face bullets, mortars, IEDs, and suicide bombers. Are you bold enough to get out from behind the keyboard, FReep in person, and stand up for the wounded troops at Walter Reed?
If you're in the DC area and don't have family or work considerations that keep you from FReeping, can you spare a few hours on a Friday night? Will you?
These posts are some of the best reads in FR lately.
What kind of car was Gael Murphy driving? Was it economical? Was it made from recycled 2-liter bottles?
I thank all of you for your dedication and perseverance in spending every Friday night outside of WRMC supporting our brave troops.
Brilliant! Thanks for a great post with photos and congrats on another successful mission. Area FReepers, keep up the great work. I wish I lived near you.
You are the BEST!!! And quick, too! I was pleasantly surprised to see the thread up so quickly. Thank you again for all you do BillF.
I was extremely disappointed at missing FReep 1 after 140 miles and 4 1/2 hours in traffic. I will never get on I-495 again!
As Joan and I were leaving for FReep 2, recruiters were leaving the office. One asked us what the demonstration had been about. He did not realize that the pink-o clan were there to protest him and the military. He found it hard to believe they would do this.
What a great night! I am encouraged every week as I stand for our brave heroes and their mission. Seeing our brave men and women waving and throwing kisses from the windows of the bus is proof that what we are doing is good and just.
I am so sick and tired of hearing, reading and poll watching, from the LSM, that the American people do not support our war efforts or our troops. One has only to stand at the corner of WRMC one Friday night to know this is not true! The patriots receive far, far more support from the thousands that pass WRMC every Friday night.
I am in the greater Richmond/Petersburg area. If anyone would like a free ride to one of the most amazing experiences you can have, please contact me to make arrangements.
Thanks for assembling and posting the after-action report and photos every week. I appreciate the efforts you put into this and thank you for sharing the experience.
Great retort to the nasty guy who didn't want you to take photos!
FReep On!
Thank you.
And for those Freepers who wish they could Freep the Code Pink-Os, but they live too far away from DC to come to Walter Reed on Friday nights...
...Do Not Despair! Lookie what I found!
I just want to tell y'all that, as one of FR's resident Democrats who frequently disagrees with the opinions expressed here, I wish I still lived in DC to join you in this particular Freep. No matter where one stands on the war, Walter Reed is a place for the healing of heroes. These young men and women, some of whom I graduated high school with, deserve the utmost respect and thanks of a grateful nation.
There are many places in DC where decisions are made, and if the Code Pink folks think they want to protest those decisions, they should go there. I frankly wish I were there to hold a sign like, "WANNA PROTEST BUSH? HE LIVES AT THE WHITE HOUSE. YOU'RE NEVER GOING TO FIND IT STANDING OUT HERE." (Wonder if anyone would get that one.) Or, "THANKS, CODE PINK: YOU'VE MADE THIS DEMOCRAT STAND WITH FREEPERS."
In any case, thank you, hang tough, and please be aware that some of us who sincerely disagree with you are sincerely ashamed of the nuts you are protesting.
Taxman Bravo Zulu! for two great FReeps, after action reports and photos!
I'll get there to FReep these creeps with you. Just be patient with me!
