They really are a bunch of weirdos. I don't like dogs, never have really. But to the rest of the world, insofar as I know, dogs are "man's best friend" and the Islamics hate them. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe in the Orient dogs are just food.

Of course the mohos hate dogs. How can they face beings of higher intelligence, morality, and decency without feeling a snarling sense of inferiority? I've never understood the islamic aversion to swine, however. You'd think they would be extraordinarily fond of creatures that so closely resemble their own family members...
