That is actual bigotry and nonsense. Typical of the groups that have kept Catholics, Jews and Blacks out of the party. I would rather keep these idiots out of the party and good riddence to them.
I'm not painting all Christians this way I am painting the radical Right Christians that continually troll these boards screaming about how they will withhold their votes from this Party if we do not bow to their will and nominate the idiots they want in office. Do I need to go through this entire Forum and count how many times these idiots say they are going to leave the party or keep their votes at home? They do it at every instance that the real Republicans start talking tactics and forget for a second about their holy untouchable religious dogma. Let the people that believe in tracts like that above leave this party I will be happy to see them go and so will many others then we can get to the real work of the Party.
See post #360, only a few posts after I say they threaten to withold their votes one goes ahead and says it again.
I don't understand why you get so upset. You tell Christian Conservatives to shut up for a while. Then you get upset when they tell you they won't vote if the nominee doesn't support their values. They are voluntarily leaving the party for a while. You say you don't want them. You should be happy, not angry.
Most of the people who have posted here and don't like Giuliani are not the rabid racists you paint them. The question you should answer is why can't you accept these people's principles are so important to them that they are willing to accept a loss so as not have to do what they feel is wrong. Perhaps you could start having folks like you agree that although Christians will accept imperfection they will not accept pro homosexual or pro abortion candidates. That is really not too much to ask, is it? And if it is, maybe it is you who are out of the mainstream of Republican thought.
