Maybe it would help if you see the post I was originally responding to, so here it is.

I knew what you were referring to. I'm just not up to date about the governmental split hairs of the FBI missing person's list. Sorry, RGVTx. I did a quick search, but could not find the criterion used to put a person on the FBI list.

I believe this shows the ship IS based in the US, thus it appears the Senator is right.

2001 Royal Caribbean International signed an agreement with the Port of Galveston to operate the Rhapsody of the Seas from Galveston Island for five years beginning in April 2002.

Thanks. It doesn't really clear the issue for me. I still see a distinction between "based" and "registered" where others see them as the same.

This is a side issue in the overall subject at hand, so I don't see it making any real difference. It just got my curiosity up.
