Yes, the pond looks to be very near
the club & not far from the VDS
home. Which makes sense, b/c joran
is a major tennis buff and likely
walked to the club for tennis from
home.
The airport is also close to the
pond. Last night, I saw planes
taking off just above the hill
where they were draining the
pond.
