Her "wishes" absent power of attorney cannot be known. What can be known is that the was living her life, until her caregivers could not give her any food and water.
Sadly Frist has taken a position that seems to indicate that useless eaters can be done away with.

At least he brought forth the issue that her monster of a husband would allow NO updated testing...including swallowing tests, although she swallowed up to 2 quarts of saliva EVERDAY and had no problem, did not have an aspirator, EVER, in her mouth.
The Judge should have ORDERED all of the updated testing to be done (it had been years for Terri since any testing had been done, and ALL MOVEMENT therapy had been stopped by her husband for TEN YEARS prior to her death. He was a monster beyond measure. He did not even put her actual date of DEATH on her tombstone...using the date of her collapse as her death date, instead.
Frist, an M.D., was right to point this out, and out government was RIGHT to attempt to assure that she had received fair and just treatment. They were ignored.
But knowing our President flew up from a mini-vacation at this ranch, in an effort to sign the bill they got together, demonstrated to me, his heart, more than any other action he has taken. I love him for doing this.

When Jeb let Terri die, without putting up a fight, I felt about as bad as when Charles Stanley dissed Operation in Rescue in '88, when there was a chance to clog up the legal system enough to maybe get some protection for the unborn.
Someting about walking the walk seems to be very scary for the ones with power and influence. At least here in the USA.

What does that mean, that paragraph? What does he mean by "Respect her memory"? What does he mean by "We must"?
Why is it important that "The most advanced medical technology" was used for her autopsy? What difference does it make that she "suffered irreversible brain damage", and then specified "at the time of her death"? How is that advanced-technology autopsy significant to respecting her memory?

We have a blind man here who also has diminished mental capacity. Think it would be all right to stop feeding him?

Will Frisk pass a law that all those with IQ below 70 must be slaughtered -- their brains are irreversibly damaged and they might be good for medical research or organ harvesting?

Heard this morning that Frist is expected to come out today in support of federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. What is going on with this guy? If I can get a minute today, I need to call his office.

TENNESSEE'S SENATOR Frist is taking the white house and Jebbie's stance. Terri was not brain dead contrary to Frist's sentence at the end. If he trusts the medical examiner who was WORKING FOR JEB, then Frist doesn't get Florida politics. IT IS UNILATERAL.
Terri was alert and aware of her surroundings and had relationships with her family and with nurses (who were fired I might add). One of Terri's nurses pre-Hospice lives near me. She was very upset that Terri was starved to death because she knew that Terri wasn't PVS.
Frist's reply doesn't surprise me a bit. He's trying to get closer to the Bushes.
"Stay outta da bushes." JJ

An RNC phone back called me yesterday to "help" the party. I cannot print here what I told the woman but she said "I'm still a Republican." I replied, "And Terri's still dead.".

Judge George Greer DENIED a Motion for Terri to be tested with the latest advanced technology like PET Scans and other testing. to determine her status while she was ALIVE. Terri was aware and experienced joy and love AND FEAR.
Greer was going to kill her and testing wouldn't have enabled him to carry out the first death sentence of a disabled American.
Advanced testing for Terri? DENIED. "The law of the case is that she will die." Judge Greer

And GOP Judge Greer mandated that the Vigilers praying for Terri and waiting for her to be rescued were insurgents. The seat of govt is in Pinellas County, not in D.C.
The RNC doesn't care who donates to their campaigns any more. Money and power won hands down.
