I just don't see how taking them off that list is going to prevent them from being put back on the list if they attack anyone.
Someone needs to explain this to me.
Yes, they could be put back on the list if they misbehave.
But we wouldn't take them off the list, unless we wanted to use them. And using them would send a very bad message to the Iranian people and would cause them to distrust us & side with the mullahs against us. And we'd lose our allies in Iran.
And that's not what we want.
