Curious. Anyone know what's up here?

I hate to see more ammunition being given to the leftists against the Minutemen -- a grassroots movement this country desperately needs.

I don't know but if it comes from AgitProp and The Commie-cal, I'd take it all with a grain of salt.

Not many quotes, eh?

Actually, I'd heard something similar about those chapters being riddled with racists. Those freaky white supremacists groups had to be told to stop joining.

Remember - it's 'racist' to protest our borders. Like, it would've been 'racist' and 'racial profiling' to arrest the 9/11 terrorists before they took action. What say you, Colleen Rowley, American hero? Is it 'racist' to protect our borders?

Hasn't DeLaGarza been trying to shut down the minutemen from the start? I thought the sheriff was sympathetic to the illegals. Maybe Parmley just wasn't up to the job.

Uh the minutemen are self-destructing.

The Texas leader of the Minuteman volunteer border patrol group has resigned, saying the chapter lacks structure and claiming racist tendencies among members from his area, a newspaper reported

Hmm, what have some said all along.

I was wondering how long the minutemen would be infiltrated by leftists. Its their modus operandi!

There is no such thing as a person who isn't racist.

It's like resigning because some members of the group have livers.

I think there's some Ross Perot-ism going on here--too many strong-willed people pulling in too many directions, which will ultimately destroy the organization. Simcox needs to, IMO, exert some strong leadership and get all his local leaders on the same page, and, in turn, the local leaders need to get their people on the same page. Anyone that doesn't want to play according to Chris' rules can either (a) go home, or (b) start their own group.

It's inevitable that as the movement spreads and more join up there will be some petty struggles for power or control. Hopefully they will maintain focus overall.

"The Sarco group has chosen to go a different course than what I feel is in the best interest of the organization nationally and locally," Parmley said in an interview with the Advocate.

It would appear that those Mr. Parmley has accused of misdeeds lost confidence in his leadership ability and he in their ability to follow him and if change needs to happen it would be better to get it done now and move on. Just hope Mr. Parmley dosn't get a "sore loser" attitude now. He should do what he said he did, resign and move on with his life and wish the best for the movement.
