The LOTR movies were Hollywood. Time Warner.I did not say they weren't. Time Warner money was used, via New Line, but the creative impetus was the folks from New Zealand. From a creative perspective, the LOTR movies were most definitely not "Hollywood".
Well Hollywood has always gobbled up the best talents of world cinema. (Hitchcock, Lang). It'a always been that way. There's no such thing as Hollywood in that sense.
