Marshall explores ways to power future spacecraft

It remains to be seen whether flying cars, silver clothes and food in a pill will be reality by 2055, experts say, but there is little doubt the future will have a need for the space work done in Huntsville.

Solar sails and advanced rocket engines are being developed at Marshall Space Flight Center to push next-generation spacecraft, including robotic probes and manned spaceships.
