Go away, you lost this argument and now your trying to be cute. Ain't working.
You poor baby!!
Nit Pick?
You implied the Brazilian resisted arrest from police officers. I'm wondering how he was supposed to know they were officers as they were plain clothes men. Did they wave their badges as a man ran to the tube? I doubt it.
It's Bush's fault. If Bush didn't mislead and invade Iraq, this guy would still be alive. [/sarcasm]
I'll tell you what. The next time someone is breaking into your home, who you gonna call? I hope not the police since you hate and don't trust them. Who you gonna call? Many people hate cops till they need one, then they are a gift from God. Lololol
Neither you nor I were there, so you can't really say for certain that they didn't.
They were police just as I said. A gun was visible in the hand of at least one of the police as reported by a witnesses. Hope I cleared up you little doubt?
But hey.. you are happy with terrorists blowing up people at random -- so be it.
The shooting was a tragic event but I do not blame the police. Blame the Islamic terrorists for creating the situation.
I agree. I expect racism from the left, but now I am seeing that it comes from the right, too! I swear, with some of these posts I have to go back and read them twice just to make sure I'm not dreaming this stuff up. What the heck is going on here?! People are making statements that bring them down to the level of the enemy islamofascists! It's sickening.
If this is how "conservatives" feel, I'm not sure I fit that mold anymore.
Apparently it was a combination of very suspicious acts he did all at once. They were watching him at first cause he was wearing a very thick padded coat and its really warm over there. Then he jumped the gate to get to the train, thirdly the cops then started chasing him , fourth they repeatedly told him to stop.I'm assuming they were speaking English. He kept running then made it to the train car, as he was jumping onboard apparently he slipped ,this is where the cops caught up to him, tackled him to the ground and shot him in the head.Very sad , but how could this guy not know what stop or halt means? I don't blame the cops over there one bit for what they did.
So you admit he didn't know he was being persued by police. I'm glad we cleared that up.
>But hey.. you are happy with terrorists blowing up people at random -- so be it<
What a loser trick.. Just because I doubt this poor Brazilian knew he was being persued by police and just because the Police in London already said it was a tragic mistake to shoot him, that makes me happy with terrorists? -- again.. what a loser trick.
HALT
to all Tube riders.
Excellent idea. Halt should mean Halt all over the world. Personally, since I have traveled to foreign lands, I'm wondering what the German, or Turkish or other language words mean Halt.
The actual quote was, "I'd rather a 1000 Brazilians or other Arab-look alikes be shot than an innocent Londoner ..."
* sigh *
What a sick world we live in.
The shooter had to think the guy had a bomb. I have no idea what information and observations he had to reach that conclusion, but reach that conclusion he did. In the shooter's mind, the guy DID have a bomb.
Otherwise the shooting was not justified.
This isn't a system that works. It's a system that produces this sort of result EVERY SINGLE TIME.
The incident is an aberration from what is desired. All systems have errors, but it's wrong to conclude that this outcome will happen each time. The cops don't like to make mistakes. Organizations with mature leadership use unfortunate incidents as opportunities for improvement. I would not expect any less aggressive activity against terrorists either. No incident produces all or nothing - black and white follow-up.
You don't deserve an answer. That's why.
