Just Breaking announcement on FOX. No more info at this time.
"Don't you all think it is time to stop all the sarcasm on these threads of bombings -- people get hurt or injured and it is no laughing matter. You may think you are being cute but to people like me with a daughter and son-in-law deployed it is anything but cute!"
Lighten up, Francis.
Hey, Infidel, I've been to the Hamdi too.....and the Egyptian bazaar --big tourist attractions. But full of Turks too. Happy to hear those places are guarded. When I was there ten years ago, there were Army guys camped around all the popular ruins--Ephesus, etc, ostensibly to keep tourists from snatching valuable artifacts, but even then, probably keeping an eye on would-be terrorists who'd like to wreck everything in Turkiye that might attract infidels like us.
Living in Istanbul! Probably a bad day to say so, but lucky you. I'd enjoy spending months there....I'm blond and blue-eyed, always mistaken for a Chermun. It didn't matter, as virtually everyone I met was very friendly and delighted to see Americans. Ten years ago, maybe things have changed.
Stay safe!
na, it's those radical Mormons. evil bastards.
I know Im supposed to care..but I really dont. Im all out of care. I want...RETRIBUTION. Fire up the MOABs.
OH NO NOT AGAIN
I have learned its in bad taste.
LOL, you have a great sense of humor.
Why, thank you. Just for that, I'm bringing back an old tagline style.
That is an interesting theory, but I'd really be surprised if AQ in particular had enough coordination left to pull off such a mission.
As I recall, Turkey did the opposite: We wanted to have an advance from the north and one from the south converging on Baghdad. Turkey blocked us from using their ports and delayed our start enough that we encountered sandstorms instead of moderate weather on the advance from the south (only from the south) into the capital.
I wonder what the crowd that blames all this terrorism on or occupation in Iraq have to say about the fact that it was Turkey that denied the US permission to launch it's northern front from Turkey thus causing major problems related to the difusion of potential insurgents that we still live with today?
And India is the only place where 200 million Muslims can live without constantly hacking off heads and plotting worldwide destruction.Well I suppose there's only 190 million in Indonesia.

It's about time we kicked the Mohammedans out of Istanbul, changed the mosque back into St. Sophia Church, and changed the name of the city back to Constantinople. This is what Churchill always wanted to do. The Turks should be driven completely off the mainland of Europe, not admitted into the EU.Two days here, and you're advocating waging war on a NATO ally. :sheesh:
-Eric
Yes, it is amazing we haven't had another major attack since 9/11. Maybe we've stopped some attacks, maybe the bad guys are just waiting for us to let our guard down
The terrorists can't try something smaller than 9/11, it has to be bigger and more spectacular. And they can't afford to have it fail. If they tried a bunch of simultaneous subway attacks and the bombs failed to explode as in London recently, the terrorists would look bad. Whatever they do, it has to be big and cannot fail.
Thanks for the update on the bombing there. It is getting to be a very dark world anymore. So much pleasure and joy is being destroyed for good people by those who just focus on doing evil deeds.
Blessings your way!
He wasn't being funny.
He was being wry.
Welcome to human nature. It's very normal for most people to try to deal with overwhelming, gutwrenching tragedy with grim humor.
All those who have achieved U.S. naturalized citizenship have taken an oath of loyalty.
So it's also time to strip the American Islamists of their citizenship - which they gained by fraud - followed by deportation to their country of origin.
Convicted federal felon Abdurahman Almoudi, the founder of the American Muslim Council comes to mind. He was involved in an assassination plot against Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Abdullah, who despite everything is an official American ally.
The U.S. Congress really needs to go back to the well and formally declare war against every group and person on the State Department's list of Designated Terrorist Groups (which itself is a legal designation). Every naturalized Muslim thus supporting, sheltering, funding, or harboring such them would be de facto guilty of treason, and again of fraud in obtaining U.S. citizenship.
