Both Sherwen and Liggett never miss a chance to praise Ullrich. I guess they're always trying to put some salve on the wounds that Lance has gouged into Ullrich over the years.

Could Ullrich pass Rassmussen for the podium slot in Paris?
To: steveegg
What bad luck for Rasmussen

Poor Ras - fell down and now a flat... Lance is going to pass him, much less Jan.
To: nascar242005
Goodness! Who peed in your Cherrios this morning? No, I don't want Lance or anyone else to fall. This is a competition between the best riders in the world and I want the man who is best today to win outright not by default b/c of a crash.
All of us need to keep in mind that Lance doesn't have much choice with JF'nK. What is he supposed to do? Kerry shows up and sticks his face in front of a camera. He is a US Senator- Lance has to deal with pompous asses all the time, I would bet. There have got to be a lot of weekend warriors- VIPS- that show up every year and expect to be with Lance one-on-one.

Easily - even w/o the bad luck Ras has had. Jan put about 2:05 into Ras in the Prologue (11 miles.)
To: gopwinsin04
He already did so on the road before Rasmussen's flat. Indeed, he made up most of the time (1:53) in the first 17 km.

Ullrich +0.01 over Rasmussen for the Bronze!
To: snarks_when_bored
Both Sherwen and Liggett never miss a chance to praise Ullrich. He is a great rider. I think it is more a case they build up a rivalry and drama only to see Lance do something amazing in the last 1/3 of the TT.
Speaking of beasts, where is Tu-ray-zah?

Do you really want Lance to suffer the fate of Rasmussen?

I hope he's not over there trying to convince Lance to switch parties...
To: leilani
Kerry will again come in second, or more simply put, 1st loser!
