PHILADELPHIA - The Anti-Defamation League has asked retailer Urban Outfitters to stop selling a T-shirt that reads: "New Mexico, Cleaner than Regular Mexico."
"This is saying that the country of Mexico is a dirty place," said Barry Morrison, regional director of the civil rights group. "Dirty can be interpreted figuratively and literally."
But it's been consistently acceptable to place the American flag in a jar of queer urine, currently depicted in a toilet in some court art show by Berkely lawyer, or generally burned at rallies. Liberal hypocrites can't have it just their way on the two lane highway in the land of the FREE.

All one needs to do to see the truth in the statement is to get on I-10 east of El Paso and drive west through town and on up into N.M.. Be sure and look across the rio grande for an eyefull.

New Mexico has much too much history for one state. That's what makes it such a fantastic setting for a novel set a few years hence. The place is bursting at the seams with history, both written and overlooked.
