"what was the 'classified information' that Wilson released to Miller?"

Anything he did or didn't find in Niger would be classified being that he was working as an extension of the CIA regardless whether his wife was covert or not or recommended him or not. Even taking Wilson's own words, Cheney sent him so he would have at least thought the information was classified before he spoke to even Corn or Kristof.

As for who wrote the memo, no I didn't know or even care who wrote it because it's nothing more than a gotcha document with a little "s" beside a paragraph. Being that the INR wrote it, who determined to put the "s" on that paragraph, someone in the CIA? It still doesn't answer who in the CIA is or was talking to reporters as admitted by Novak?

Actually the entire memo was marked 'Top Secret' and the paragraph in question was marked 'SNF' which means Sensitive - No Foreign. Even foreign intelligence services of our allies were not allowed to see it.

OH, now I understand. You PRESUME he gave her classified information, as opposed to knowing it.

As for not knowing or caring who wrote the memo - well, you SAID it was written by a colleague of Plame's at CIA. It wasn't. So I guess you just don't know or care whether what you say is accurate.

If things are still being done as they were many, many years ago, the 'S' designation on a paragraph indicates that something in the paragraph is classified Secret, not that everything in it is.

The highest classification in the paragraph attaches to the paragraph just as the highest classification contained anywhere in a document attaches to the document.
