This prosecutor better hurry up, this man is losing credibility every day that more leaks come from his investigation. At a minimum this prosecutor should address the press and clear the air, since his incompetence with continued leaks has smeared a White House official.

According to Plames boss (now retired), Plame blew her own cover when she started dating Wilson. He no longer considered her covert from that point on, and she was put at a desk. Fox did an interview with him.
I really don't think this investigation is about outing Plame. That was done years ago.

If the Democrats were honest, they would have forgone this whole thing 2 years ago when it really mattered. Now it just stinks of political expedience, and it par for the course as far as the behavior of the Democrats is concerned, which is trashing this White House at every turn. I have just learned that the memo is real but too many MSM Rat supporters have the facts wrong about the memo and what info came from it. The obstruction charges that have been mentioned is for Miller who is protecting Wilson. This memo was prepared by one of Plames fellow analyst and was sent to Powell as requested. The analyst that sent it told Plame that she was mentioned as the wife of the person sent to Niger, Wilson. Plame then contacted Wilson, who got upset at what he believed was the administration undermining his findings and dragging his wife in it. Wilson then contacted Miller who had been nosing around and advised her that his wife could verify everything he said about what he didn't find and the administration was going to undermine it. Miller knew that Wilson had just committed a crime by releasing to her classified information and contacted another analyst at the CIA, her source, who was also Novak's source, and advised them to tell other sources that Plame recommended, but didn't actually send, her husband Wilson to Niger but try to verify it through Rove. Novak and the analyst spoke and Novak was told that Wilson's wife recommended him but she had approval from the higher ups. This analyst also had other contacts that spoke to Rove before Novak had and they tried to confirm it from Rove but Rove hadn't heard a thing before their calls. Novak then calls and Rove says,"I heard that too".

I really can't say much about how I learned this info but this is a statement from Novak himself that indicates he had sources in the CIA.
