Have you thought about a Vegas wedding? I know a lot of people think they are crass but somehow it appeals to me. My girlfriend bugging me about getting hitched. So maybe will take a trip to Las Vegas. Then get hitched at one of those tacky chapels right in the middle of gambling and drinking. I might even just leave the chips at my table place, go to the tacky chapel to get hitched, and then return to my seat at the poker table to continue playing.
Hey! They don't call me Mr. Romance for nothing.

The plan now is a RC church wedding, reception in a nautical venue, and then we plan to jet off for a honeymoon in Paris!

Speaking of Las Vegas, are any of you fans of the History Channel Show, "Beating Vegas?" On one show a family from Spain was featured. They had a system to beat the roulette wheel and it worked beautifully. Only TWO problems. One the father insisted that they NEVER tip when they won which was incredibly stupid because it only drew attention to themselves. And secondly they kept playing at the same Casino in Spain until they got tossed out. Why couldn't they just go to lots of other Casinos? Their system worked at all the Casinos they played at, including Las Vegas. So because of the idiotic idea of not tipping the crew and not moving around to other casinos, they eventually got banned from all the casinos. While watching that show I was screaming at the screen: "LEAVE TIPS YOU IDIOTS!!!"

You're thinking Bucharest (Romania). Budapest is in Hungary. And few Hungarians expect foreigners to speak their language as it is very difficult to learn.

Well, I don't speak Romanian OR Hungarian. And Normandy is quite a drive from either Buda or Pest.

Now there's a thought.......the guys could take in the sights of the Frog coast (and St. Michel, which is just a storybook location), then slip across on the ferry to help you and
MadIvan chase 'Orrible 'Annibal, or whatever the Mad Mufti's name is -- you know the one, Dr. Hook, the one with five whole teeth -- around the Piccadilly Circus with a great big mob of irate Londoners, like some great big Monty Python skit. Chase the Mufti's sorry ass all the way back to Araby, while John Cleese shoots the video for wide release.
For guys who take themselves deadly seriously, mass ridicule is utterly deadly. Remember how the Mahdi ended up, hoised on his own petard. Nothing worse to an Arab than a false prophet who gets his burnoose set afire by the infidels.
It would be memorable! Plus, they'd have the video!
