I thought someone said this was illegal? Why can't we build them all along the land borders everywhere??

Well, anything is better than nothing. If this slows the flood of illegal at all, I'm in favor of it. However, my preferred method is still to put the US military on the border. I think that would stop the flood very quickly and effectively.
And, of course, the arrest and deportment of all illegals.

. . .it is a proactive effort to protect the environment, habitat and (protect) against the ravages of narcotics and alien smuggling vehicles," said Joe Brigman, a spokesman for the Yuma sector of the U.S. Border Patrol Oh! That's good, real good. Liberals who advocate open-borders most certainly bow to the environmental god as well. Can't have smugglers sqashing the tit-mice, now can we?
Wonder how long it will take illegals to figure out they'll take a quick back seat to environmental concerns. LOL!

I hope it's 20 foot tall like the one Israel is building -- I can hope can't I.

It may not stimulate the economy down there as much as the Big Dig has for New England, but at least it concludes the immigration issue and we can move on to other things such as tort reform.
