Good lord use your noodle; how much will it cost to pump this crap out of the ground in a region tht is infested with violence and poison. Do you think Iran and the Saudi's would leave these fields in working order if they where nuked?

Saudi Arabia is no way near as populous as Iraq, and yes, oil fires can be put out and rigs rebuilt.

How much is is costing now?

Our dear friends the Saudis have publicly acknowledged that every time the price of oil rises above $29/bbl, it hurts our economy.

It's now at ~$60/bbl.

It costs the Saudis about $0.40/bbl to pump it out of the ground.

The profits are used to fund the prophet's warriors, in their implacable quest to kill, enslave, or convert us all.
