John Howard is speaking but saying nothing just as Blair did - looks like they have their big girl pants on today
I am certain that Blair didn't say more because THEY DON'T KNOW what's involved in this incident yet.
The Aussie left detests Howard as much as the American left hates Bush, and the left hates both of them more than they hate the Islamists. This is why I am forced to conclude: the main task of conservatives in this era is to defend and preserve Western civilization. They left will NOT do it.

Gee, do you think you could give the Prime Minister more than a few hours to get an update on what is going on and who might be behind this? He'd look really foolish if he blamed it on the likely culprits, the jihadists, and it turned out to be eco-terrorists, for example.
So, knee-jerk rhetoric is what impresses you. Doesn't do much for me.
