Two Afghans released Wednesday from detention in Guantanamo Bay in Cuba claimed that about 180 other Afghans held at the US detention facility were on a hunger strike to protest alleged mistreatment and to push for their release.

Bacon, pork chops, ham, scrapple and head cheese.
"I've just decided that instead of filibusters of judicial nominees, hunger strikes should be required instead!"
--- Unfort it probably wouldn't work. The Dhimmicrats would just do like Jesse Jackson did when he went on a 'hunger strike' -- when he got hungry, say that someone else was doing the strike for him while he ate dinner.
As God is my witness, I thought they could fly....

Awww! I'm really upset about the hunger strike! NOT! Sounds like the U.S. taxpayer will save some money as long the the thugs in captivity don't eat.
Answer to headline: So? Consider it early Ramadan.
You would not want to be the only flesh available when lard@$$ Kennedy, has a big Mac attack.
That's it. They are beating the Ramadan rush!
Let'em starve.
I saw it when it aired in front of the family console TV laying on a my stomach on a couch pillow. It's one of like five memories that never fade. I laughed so hard.
