I hate to say this, but Hannity, on many occasions, bullies and shouts down his "liberal" guests, not letting them get in a word in edgewise, especially if Sean is losing the argument.
Yeah, but this seems like a set up.
Has anyone read the book? It seems like it would be a funny and interesting book.
I'm not a Hannity fan, but he does that because the other person is not being responsive to the question, or is filibustering.
"I hate to say this, but Hannity, on many occasions, bullies and shouts down his "liberal" guests"
The guy who was subbing for Tony Snow today was doing the same thing. I like the way Tony does it. He just lets them rant on, then chuckles at their stupidity.
Sorry - I couldn't resist. The BJ is one of my least favorite commentators - but, did you know he wrote a book?
Ya, I bet you hate to say it. The problem for you is it is Hannity's show, he goes one on one with them, and when he sees the guest rambling or spinning; its his job to cut them off.
If you don't like it don't watch; but to compare this to what the clowns at this DOMMY DEUTCH show did is rediculous.
How are things at DU?
Hannity is a pi$$-poor interviewer and a lukewarm intellect. He gives the liberal viewpoint FAR too much face-time.
His looks are the only reason he is on TV.
But at least Hannity gives them a Ruths Chris Steak house gift certificate afterwards.
Hannity talks over his conservative guests as well. He should just shut up. It really makes me mad when he interrupts Laura Ingram and Ann Couldter because they are a lot more interesting than Hannity.
Dude, I catch him on the trip home every day - have to disagree with you. What you call shouting down, I see as him "heading off at the gap" a pending and mindless liberal KnowNothing spewing of ad hominem assaults.
Sean is a pitbull, only once have I heard him go passive and that was with Sam Donaldson about a year back; Sammy boy would evade questions with a quick riposte along the lines of "but you guys do it, too", and Sean didn't take charge. But shouting down? Nah, Sean just puts 'em in their place, is all... and just before they attempt to seize his show to mount a mini-demonstration of their own - abduction of venue, if you will...
Like the tagline, excellent example of what a prime minister should be...
