I don't like his position on illegal Searches in violation of the 4th Amendment Lets hope his observance of the Constitution outweighs his like for police powers. Scalia also tends to like police power. That seems to be Robert's only downside, which is no big deal if he is a true Constitutionalist.

I think Roberts is about as conservative as Rhenquist. IOW, he's no Clarence Thomas, but he'll do. And a hell of a lot better than who he's replacing!
