President Bush has redeemed himself and his party.

With Specter, Schiavo and the cave on the nuclear option for appellate judges, the Republicans were headed towards a divided party and collapse.

But where it counted, once again the President kept his flawless record regarding campaign promises.

An excellent choice.
And now it is the responsibility of the Senate to make it happens.

Any subsequent choices must also be of the same caliber.

Thank you, President Bush.

Turns out that "cave" was much ado about nothing, right? We got 8/10 (so far). We gave up nothing. The "principle" will be violated by the Dems, and we'll outvote them anyway.

Just like I predicted months ago, it's a win win for us.

BTW, one of the "gang of 14," Graham, was on Hannity talking like Attila the Hun: he said that the deal did NOT include USSC positions as "extraordinary circumstances." (As I said it would not).

Always take what they give you . . . THEN come back and take what you have to.
