Here's my take on it. The punks did it. That doesn't matter. They will never be convicted. In the mean time, the media is making a fortune on the story while real issues go unnoticed like atrocities committed by illegal immigrants inside the borders of the United States.
I'm sorry for her parents. The only upside I can think of to this story is that maybe other parents won't be so quick to send their kids to vacation in Banana Republics.
to your other point....the murderers may get away with it right now, but I think they will pay and pay and pay their whole lives for this, and so will the Sloot family.....especially the Big Sloot.........
