maggief, Frances Ellen Byrd did not say anything contradictory to her first interview. I would think that the video of the interview would be needed to see her reaction.

Goodnight Fritzy and thank you.

What a great idea for Greta to go to Mountain Brook. Perhaps we could write Greta and suggest it. But that might be a bit much at this time for those involved.

Damn, girl, you are on top of things. I sure would hate to get into an argument with you. You're like my wife, able to multitask during the whole thing. That said, I still think some of the kids from Mountain Brook have more information than they want to reveal. Secondly, and I'm not being mean here, but did you notice that the Weatherly girl was gritting her teeth and moving her jaw and lips in a strange way. I tried to see if their pupils were blown but couldn't tell.

I swear they should send het to Gitmo and just let her talk.

I'd cofess to every jihadi thought I'd ever had and give up bin Laden's satellite phone # within 10 minutes.

"BTW Joran at the hospital as well." I bet you his being hospitalized will become a recurring thing from now on. If so, I would expect Jason to soon be charged with Natalee's disappearance/murder.

Because Joran was obviously too sick to do it. Those eeeevil identical twins.

You know what I first thought? I first heard that Deepak was brought to the hospital for a forced DNA sample, didn't hear that so were the other two. I thought that maybe Deepak's hair or DNA was on the tape with Natalee's and I was wondering if Joran's Dad had "arranged" for such a piece of evidence to exonerate HIS child and send Deepak to prison for life. Remember, he'd do ANYTHING for his son...

18 is very young and if a girl has been sheltered, she is childlike in her outlook and in the way she would trust people. I was like that and I am still a lot that way at the age of 56. I was married at 18, had been sheltered by my parents and then was sheltered by my husband until he died after 33 years of marriage. During these past four years alone, my eyes have started to be opened. There are some really awful men in this world. I am sure there are a lot of awful women, too, guys, but my girlfriends are nice.

"I would find it "amazing" if these Christian people EVER consulted with a psychic!!"

well, it has to be said....

they are Christians but they also are the type of Christians that send their kids to islands where there is open drinking, prostitution, gambling and apparently, sleeping in each others rooms was the accepted practice, whatever that means....

so, yes, maybe that type of Christian would enlist a psychic......

actually it doesn't have to be said or implied!
As far as gambling goes, it's legal there--I realize there are people (my mom is one) who gambling is completely immoral to do. (My dad and I both got thumped upside the head when he let me pull a slot handle as a kid.:) ) Some people think you very nearly lose your salvation with a drink. But not everyone feels that way. And I'm not aware of many communities where there aren't prostitutes nearby. And unless I've misread the comments, the changing of the rooms involved girl's staying with other girl's not necessarily co-ed. SO they were probably out of their element, maybe not the best place to go. I'm sure lots of parent's will have second thoughts of sending their kids outside of the states for graduation parties. But none of those things are excuses for someone missing or for an implied, 'she asked for it'!

As opposed to the type that stands in judgment in a backhanded way?

Predictably, if they have N's panties or something else of hers with indentifiable semen on it (even all three 'boys' semen), what they'll do is vilify N again. They'll say, oh, yes, we did have sex with her, but she wanted it, she initiated it, she was sex-crazed, and then we left her doing drugs on the beach while we drove off. Why didn't we mention that we had consensual sex with N before? Well, we were trying to protect her reputation! (Why didn't they get mouth swabs from these three weeks ago?)

They were "tightlipped" (sorry couldnt resist) But they are not about to talk especially on TV, they clammed up better than Joran did. They know more but are trying to not let their parents know what really happened, and/or have been advised to say nothing.

I can just see it now....ques: did you drink , do drugs, flirt, dance while at C&C? answer: absolutely not we went there to have a bite to eat and than we left, ques: did you see Natalee? answer: yes we are absolute the bestest of friends I mean just the best, we briefly saw her for a minute, ques: if you are such great friends why didnt you make certain Natalee left with you? answer: have no answer for that one, grit teeth, clench teeth etc.

Thats my version of how the questioning would probably go now. Looks like they have been advised to say NOTHING.

I'm not going to comment on Cherry's reply.. but I do get tired of the "it's legal in Aruba" to drink, gamble, etc. as though to imply then it's OK for 18 year olds to do that.... abortion is legal too.. can't say I agree with that..

This is absolutely tragic and sad... I cannot begin to imagine what her parents are going through - and yes I'm SURE a lot of parents will think twice now before sending their kids out of the states to places where it's "legal" to pary.

You sure? I was kind of expecting Freddy from Elm Street.

I suspect they want to compare the three boys DNA with the DNA they get back from the hair samples off of the duct tape.

Hummm? I recall someone saying that a pair of thong panties was found in that area as well.
