I was wondering but I could have sworn that after last years win Armstrong said he wouldn't compete in the Tour de France this year. If true what made him change his mind?

...a new contract with the Discovery Channel required him to ride at least once more. He decided to get it over with and do it this year.

I saw an interview in which he said cancer had spread, and I thought he said to his brain, but I could not determine if that was a new interview or not! I think he did say this is the last one...but if he said that last year, who knows? I think things are pretty serious with Sheryl Crow...
