I dread what the next generation of publicly educated persons will turn out to be.
It will be whatever they individually choose to be. Each of us makes our OWN decisions in life and how we want to live and then we live with the consequences.
There are many bright, bright kids out there, who no doubt will rise to the top.
But there is also a huge percentage of deadbeat, amoral students, particularly in urban areas, who will be a burden on society because the schools failed them (and because they fail themselves).
