I'd like another source as well (and the folks at La Raza don't count).
The Left's favorite tactic to stifle debate on the borders is to charge racism. I'm suspicious of reports such as this one ("rumors" of beatings, etc.), especially now that the Minutemen are successfully bringing attention to the borders.

I'm very suspicious of this reporter as well. I'd like to know his background. From what I could research; he has written some stories about talk radio with a very liberal slant. (I assume it's the same Dan Sewell)

At any rate, when conservatives read stories about Republicans by the AP, their media bias antenna goes up. Why shouldn't they be equally suspicious of this story?
