If you were flying from the United States, what IS the last thing you do before you go out the door?The last thing I do is to make sure I have my passport and copy of the itinerary. Weather is reviewed while packing--which occurs about 45 minutes before leaving.
The problem is that many of the resort areas do not allow for last minute cancellations without major penalty. Key West is well known for this. Thus, travel insurance is a good idea for the dream vacations.

I was watching an interview on TWC. An employee was talking about how his hotel a designated shelter and that all guests will stay in the ball room with "full" amenities. He made it sound like fun!:')
