If it turns out to be someone the left doesn't want to take down you'll see a quick about face on their part and they'll suddenly and miraculously discover what we all already know. Plame wasn't covert and no crime was committed.

That's why they keep trying to muddy the water and make so many accusation that even FReepers can't keep up with it.

It's somebody or something the Dems and the MSM really, really don't want exposed.

The below links relate to a brief filed on behalf of 36 news organizations, the NYT is conspicuously absent from the list. One of the authors of the brief is Victoria Toensing, who has posed the same points in editorial columns expressing the function of the statute that forbids disclosure of covert operatives.
