I think their lack of education is PRECISELY the point when they themselves talk POINTEDLY about the man's intelligence. They say Bush is stupid, lazy, a monkey, not as smart as Kerry, and so on. But never mind that they as a group have little to brag about when it comes to formal education and when they comport themselves in crass and vulgar ways. Bush does indeed have an impressive formal education; many entertainers do not. A formal education and intelligence are not one and the same, but the two definitely overlap. A formal education is still, despite all the problems, a pretty good indicator of intelligence.
