The Catholic Church started Christianity. How is it not "Christian."

Beg to differ, Jesus Christ started Christianity.

I beg to differ, further. The first "Christians" thought of themselves as just a sect of Judaism. The seperation didn't come until later.

The early church was NOT Catholic. That evolved at a later date. The early church met in believers' homes and put their faith in Jesus only.
