The information that Joanie has compiled here regarding Red China and its abject threat is critical. The information is damning of certain officials of the former administration, and it is a direct warning and potential indictment of various officials in the existing administration to do their duty in order to protect and defend our nation, its constitution, our liberty and even our very way of life.

This week's threats from Red China, the recent joint China and Russia statements, the continuing massive Chinese military buildup...all of these point towards the inescapable conclusion that the time has long since past that we confront the truth about Red China and act accordingly.

End the coddling, end the coziness, revoke the foolish permanent favorite nation status, end the massive deficit spending and economic drueling over a potential that does not exist, never has existed, and was been created in the midns of certain politicians and economic leaders of this nation (and the entire west) for the express purpose of putting us in the position we are currently in...and worse.

Treat Red China the way Reagen treated and brought down the Soviet evil empire, and do it forthwith. It will be painful, but not nearly as painful as the consequences of failing to do so.

The movie, "HERO", the setting of which takes place in ancient China may provide a clue to modern China's plans of conquest. The photography is mesmerizing and well-worth watching. Listen to the dialog (English sub-titled) and it sounds like something right out of Marx or Islam. No world peace unless the world is under one ruler. The movie makes it clear that China will be that ruler. I made reference to the movie on another thread relating to China's nano-weapons program.

Jeff, I fervently agree. But it ain't gonna happen. We have NO leadership now or on the horizon that appears remotely interested in dealing realistically with China. I know that's an ominous statement, but it's true. And the longer we maintain the status quo, the more difficult--if not impossible--it will become to deal with in the future. I never cease to be amazed by people smart enough to rise to the presidency and other national leadership positions, who conversely haven't the ability to see the most blatantly obvious truths.

We are starting to see the results of bad decisions that have been made in this country over the last 40 years or so. This country has a lot of serious problems, both financial and otherwise, that are starting to come home to roost.

Meanwhile, China is growing rapidly and are in a position to make the 21st century theirs. I think they will probably succeed. I hope I'm wrong.
