Of course Miller talks to Plame, that's obviously why she never wrote the story herself. Plame was her key CIA source on all of her WMD stories. She would have to tell it all to the grand jury. That's ceratinly worth going to jail for. But I just don't think she would have told Bob Novak. I do think she would have told Matt Cooper. I also think Joe Wilson himself might have blabbed about his wife within earshot of some journos at a cocktail party, maybe without even realizing it. Wouldn't that be rich?
He more than blabbed, he put that fact on his website bio then pulled it. Many folks have captures of it with her name on it as a CIA agent.
And these two were socialites like most federal employee shallow idiots.
If the people can't start sending decent folks to work for us and represent us then we might as well give up.
And the left just tore Miller to shreds over her reporting on WMD, claiming she just willingly regurgitated Administration lies to sell an "illegal" war. In fact, this jailing is just the thing Miller needs to salvage her career; overnight, she goes from pariah to martyr.
And now it looks like all the BS Miller reported came straight from the left's favorite "covert operative", Valerie Plame.
It starts to become so much clearer now, with all the revelations about the incestous relationships and the nest-feathering between the press, the democrat party and the intelligence agencies. Especially when you couple that with the staggering display of incompetence and willful blindness in pursuit of ideology on display here. No wonder all the players here were so anxious to keep this thing under wraps.
OMG! I NEVER put those two together before and on WMD issues to boot!! Good going. Last week someone noted that Miller was WRONG on every thing she wrote about WMD! I need a SCORECARD!
Your tagline is so true.....why DOES Plame still have a job?
I also think the connections are exactly what you wrote. Speaking of blabbing, - 'ol Joe wrote in his book that Valerie broke her cover to him on their third date. That sounds like sloppy tradecraft to me.
