Why do the Republicans have to fight?

Don't they have a five-seat majority?

It went down by straight party-line vote, it appears.

That'll teach me to vainly believe in incipient signs of sanity from a Democrat Senator anywhere, anytime.

Uh, yes, which just prevailed on the party line vote that just concluded.

Was it Durbin or Levin that released info on our secret weapons program?

A Boxer-Inhofe amendment? That is very strange.

No kidding! Not a single cRATS had the fortitude and/or integrity to call BS on this obvious travesty! All of this crap based upon news reports ~speculation, rumor and innuendo ~ the hell with the official investigation ~ obviously truth and justice are without merit to the elected members of that party!

I expected a no vote from the likes of my Dem Senator, Brave Sir Robin Dayton, but I was hoping for a smidgeon of integrity and courage in at least one Democrat.

It was allowed through after a brief recess ("quorum call") for McCain to look at the amendment.
