37 years old with throat cancer from SHS? PROVE IT! This is bull$hit. How could she have gotten it from SHS when heavy smokers don't get it at 37? There are other risk factors, namely ingestion of alcohol. Has she ever had an alcoholic beverage?

Yeah, the God-&^%*d ACS (in Toledo)searched & searched until they found a guy who'd had his larnyx removed & claimed it was from ETS. They paraded him before city council & made sure the media was there. The great thing was....this was to get the ban in Toledo passed...and the guy didn't even LIVE IN TOLEDO!! He's now back doing commercials 24/7 for the ACS calling for a statewide ban.
My Mother died from cirrhosis (sp?) of the liver...and NEVER DRANK A DROP OF ALCOHOL!! Not once in her life! When she went into a coma, all the hospital staff told us they'd thought she'd been an alcoholic. I used to live above a kindly woman who never smoked, never drank, and was a vegetarian. Never had been sick a day in her life. One day, she felt strange, collapsed, was rushed to the hospital. They found she was riddled with cancer throughout her body. Six months later, she was dead. She'd never worked around smokers & none of her family smoked-although they didn't care if I did-but, that's because it was in the 70's.
