Bingo! My theory is that Miller set Cooper on the trail of the Cheney/Wilson story and Cooper, while calling Rove about another story he was doing on welfare reform, set Rove up, possibly inadvertently, but it was exactly what Miller wanted. Miller is well-known for her WMD stories.
Yes. That is possible. But could Cooper have gotten his information, or confirmation, from his wife? As a person who has worked closely with Hillary for so many years, Mandy Gruenwald (Cooper's wife) would have had access to those infamous FBI files. Plame has not been covert for 9 years (before 2002) That would have put her covert service smack in the middle of eh Clinton Administration -- something Gruenwald would know all about. So, where does Miller fit? Is she also a buddy of Gruenwald, or Clinton?
Miller supposedly tipped off a charity organization sending money to the Palestinian Liberation Army that they were being investigated by.......Fitzpatrick!!!! The same guy doing this "Plame leak" investigation !!! Boy, I'll bet she's screwed!
