I think their right wing has been so doused with liberals that its obvious. Can you imagine if the GOP candidate next Presidential Election, was gay?!
While in America it's the Republican party - as per Howard Dean - who are made up of white Christians.
Then he wouldn't be a candidate, that's for sure!!
