PRINCETON, Illinois A bomb squad has been called in to investigate a suspicious container found in a van at a Princeton gas station.
Police say a man drove into a Shell station just off of the Interstate 80 / Illinois 26 interchange around 3:30 a.m. The stations manager says the man told the attendant on duty that he had explosives and that he was going to Washington.

While searching the van, police came across a suspicious container and called a bomb squad from Springfield. The Secret Service is also investigating the incident.
The vans driver, Terry Daniel, 44, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was taken to the Bureau County Jail.
